The Church on the Mount of Beatitudes marks the traditional site where Jesus delivered the Sermon on the Mount. Earlier churches existed here, but the present church was designed by Antonio Barluzzi and commissioned in the 20th century. The octagonal shape of the church symbolizes the eight Beatitudes. Inside, visitors can admire beautiful mosaics and an impressive dome that reflects the peaceful spiritual atmosphere of the Galilee region.

These sacred elements represent deep spiritual value for Christians around the world. The Olive Oil symbolizes anointing and healing (Mark 6:13). The Earth from Bethlehem represents the Holy Land where biblical events took place (Mark 4:8). The Water of the Jordan represents baptism and spiritual renewal (1 Corinthians 12:13).
