“In The Place Where You Hear The Sound Of The Shofar, Rally To Us There. Our God Will Fight For Us.” (Nehemiah 4:20)
Authentic 100% Kosher Kudu Shofar
Natural kosher and artistic Kudu shofar, carefully handcrafted according to traditional methods and finished with a beautiful half-polished and half-natural look that highlights the horn’s unique texture and character.
The Shofar is one of the oldest natural musical instruments, made from animal horn and used since Biblical times. It is mentioned throughout the Hebrew Bible and played an important role in many sacred events. The powerful blast of the shofar was heard from the thick cloud on Mount Sinai, filling the Israelites with awe (Exodus 19–20). The shofar was used to announce holy days (Psalms 81:4), mark the New Year (Leviticus 23:24), accompany the Ark of the Covenant in celebration (II Samuel 6:15, I Chronicles 15:28), signal battle (Joshua 6:4, Judges 3:27), and create joyful music (Psalms 98:6, 47:5).
Its distinctive and emotional sound, often described as a powerful weeping tone, carries deep spiritual meaning. According to Halakhah, the shofar is traditionally sounded during synagogue services on Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year) and Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement).
All shofars are carefully inspected and approved by rabbis to ensure they meet kosher requirements. The length of each shofar is measured along the outer curve of the horn, respecting its natural shape. Because each horn grows differently, every shofar is completely unique and no two pieces are exactly the same.
- The shofar size is 120-124cm \ 47.5''-50''
The spiritual significance of the shofar is undeniable. Its powerful sound evokes deep emotion and connection, making it a meaningful part of Jewish tradition and a remarkable ancient instrument.
