The Shofar is made from genuine ram’s horn and produces a powerful, high-pitched and emotional sound when blown. For centuries this sacred instrument has been used during Jewish worship. According to Halakhah, the shofar is sounded during synagogue services on Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year) and Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement).
All shofars are inspected and approved by rabbis to ensure they are completely kosher. The horn length is measured along the outer curve, respecting the natural shape of the instrument. Every shofar is one-of-a-kind.
